Give Us Your Feedback on Epic!

The KLAS Arch Collaborative survey is now available to all physicians, physician residents and fellows, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, midwives, CRNAs, nurses (e.g., CNS, LPN, NA, RN), pharmacists and allied health professionals.

Don’t miss this opportunity to give us your valuable feedback on the technology you use to care for patients and the support you receive to use this technology successfully. Your feedback is taken seriously, and it does make a difference. Last year’s survey resulted in these key Epic and IT support changes.

This survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and will help us to improve your overall Epic experience and facilitate better patient care. To access the Arch Collaborative survey, click the button below.

Use Badge Tap/Single Sign-On Correctly

Did you know that when you badge tap onto a workstation at the start of your shift and enter your password, your password is saved for the next four hours, allowing you to log onto other workstations with only a badge tap? The next time you badge tap in, Epic may resume from the same place where you badge tapped out, depending on the workstation’s location and workflow you were using. This saves you time when accessing Epic.

Important Reminders:

  • Make sure you always badge tap out. This ensures your session closes properly and locks the workstation, protecting PHI and your credentials.

  • If your workstation doesn’t have a badge reader, you can press Ctrl + ~ on the keyboard to log off.

  • Never use the Start or Windows button to manually log out – this will turn off the auto-logon tool.

Support

  • For ugent, patient safety issues, call the IT Service Desk, 832.667.5600.
