MARS Finance Access: New Process

New Process for MARS Finance and Travel & Expense Users

There is an automated way to request or change your access to MARS Finance. An online form is replacing the old paper form that required you to print, fill out by hand, scan and email to MARS. When you complete the online form, it auto-submits to managers and others for required approvals.

Anyone with a MARS ID must use this new online form, including new employees. Contractors and vendors will continue using the paper form.

  • From the MARS landing page (before you log in), click Access Request, then click Finance Security Request.

  • MARS won’t accept paper forms and will ask you to fill out the online form (except for contractors and vendors, who must use the paper form – located on the Finance Security Request link).

  • Stop using any old forms you’ve downloaded.

    • You may download a new copy. If you do, be sure to do this every time to ensure you’re always using the most updated form.

Online Form – Easier to Use

  • When you’re filling it out, you can save a draft if you need to pause to gather more details.

  • You can select Mirror access – meaning the same access as a colleague.
