Using the IT Support website (itsupport.houstonmethodist.org) is the best way to get your IT needs met. Calling the IT Service Desk is still allowed but you should reserve it for urgent, patient safety issues or system access problems.
Please don’t use the provider and Community Connect email addresses to get support. If you’re not a provider or employed by a Community Connect practice, don’t use the IT Support email addresses and Service Desk phone numbers created specifically for them.
When you do, it can delay them from receiving much needed support, and it’s a violation of HM’s I CARE values. If you request support from one of these channels and aren’t a provider or Community Connect practice, your ticket will be closed, and you must resubmit your request through the IT Support website.
