Vocera Badges

VOCERA BADGES

Hands-Free Communication for Providers, Nurses, Other Identified Clinical Staff

Voice-Controlled, One-Button Operation

What’s new

    • Web browsers: Vocera Web Console and Admin Console can run on Microsoft Edge and Chrome browsers.

    • Forwarded calls: Display the Vocera user’s name instead of a number in call logs and through Who Called voice dialogue.

    • Enunciating numbers: Messages with two- and three-digit numbers are enunciated as “forty-five” and “one hundred twenty-three” instead of a string of digits, e.g., “four, five” and “one, two, three”.

    • Calls forwarded to external phone numbers: When you forward these calls, you can choose to display your name instead of the external phone number on your Vocera Badge.

    • Emergency Broadcast: When you send this type of group message, it includes your location.

    • Voice recognition: This is improved with the upgrade.

Vocera Badges

  • Voice-controlled, one-button operation. Lightweight and wearable, Vocera badges allow hands-free communication.

  • No need to remember phone numbers. Placing a call is as easy as saying, “Call Jane Smith” or “Call ED charge nurse.”

  • Remember onstage behaviors because all Vocera communications are on speaker.
